Flavor Notes: Plum | Honey | Gingerbread
Many high quality coffee farms dot the misty mountain-sides of Veracruz in southern Mexico,
Finca Zacamitla, owned by Horacio Melo Petrone, has been producing coffee in this region for some time. Until recently, that coffee was simply added to low quality blends. IPCoffees recognized the quality of this farm and worked with the owner to process and sort it independently, leading the farm to global recognition.
This year's Zacamitla exhibits unprecedented complexity, the coffee trifecta. Notes of dried plum tango with textures of fruit juice on the front. Herbaceous qualities can be found throughout, and a sweet gingerbread finish completes the story.
