Brazil has a rich history of coffee production. The Cerrado region alone is home to about 3,500 coffee producers, many with farms that have been passed down through generations. This is the case with Jose de Paula's plantation, whose family immigrated from Italy and Portugal in the early 20th century.
Jose's son, Jose Eduardo de Paula is currently assuming ownership of the farm while implementing modern innovations in growing and processing practices.

This natural, sun-dried Brazil is deeply flavorful. A slight bakers chocolate bitterness mingles with dried fruit on the front, and the taste of rich, oily tree-nuts leaves a lasting finish.
