Peaberry seeds occur when a coffee cherry produces only one seed as opposed to the usual two. These seeds are smaller and distinctively round in shape, and they are separated during the screening portion of processing at the dry mill just prior to exporting.

This lot from Jampit Estate is unique because single variety, fully washed lots are extremely rare from this area of the world. The Typica variety offers clean mild notes, and the washed process will help make the bright notes shine while maintaining subtle notes of spice, earth and citrus classically offered from Indo-Pacific coffees. This lot is a prime example of how much of an effect the processing method has on the outcome of any lot of coffee produced.
