New environmentally friendly mixed-use development project includes prominent local establishments

SACRAMENTO, California. (May 2015) – Insight Coffee Roasters has officially opened its fourth location in the heart of downtown Sacramento in the highly anticipated 16 Powerhouse development project.

“This LEED-certified residential and retail project in the heart of downtown is incredible for Sacramento and we are honored to be a part of it,” says Scott Bromberek, Partner at Insight Coffee Roasters. “We are excited to have such a meaningful platform to continue our Mission to educate the community on craft coffee.”

The new 1400 sq. ft. café is located near the intersection of 16th & P Streets on the ground floor of the five-story complex. The café features hand-crafted tables created by Co-Founder Lucky Rodrigues, with salvaged wood from the property where it now resides. Located next to Powerhouse Alley, Insight Coffee plans to use this location for public events, including Sacramento’s Second Saturday.

This location also features raw, organic, cold-pressed juice from Sun & Soil Juice Company and pastries from neighboring tenant Magpie.

"This cafe has been a lot of fun to build. It streamlines coffee and tea service and provides areas to observe and engage the barista,” says Justin Kerr, Manager at Insight Coffee Roasters. “Our concept combined with this beautiful building and neighborhood create an experience like no other."
